Influenced by the Italian trattorias, Greek tavernas & French bistros, Alessandro's is a truly Mediterranean restaurant, ideally located in the heart of Douglas in the Isle of Man, on the first floor of the old Victoria arcade with quaint but informal atmosphere, unique food and drink choices, simplicity & quality. In a sense, like eating at a friend's house.


With respect for the local and imported ingredients, an apparently ordinary piece of meat or fish is grilled and transformed by lashings of olive oil, herbs and sauces.


We offer a wide choice of reliable, popular Italian cuisine with house favorites that include local queenies with orecchiette pasta in a cream sauce, fresh lobster tagliatelle, lamb in rosemary & Marsala sauce and king prawn, asparagus & sun-dried tomato tagliatelle and many more.


The sensibility in knowing what to do with good ingredients is our strong point, such as the ability to deliciously vary the final taste with a change in the basic recipes.
